Botox/Xeomin
Botox and Xeomin are both options for treatment with use of botulinum toxin. Application of such, works at targeting certain muscles to decrease their action, thus decreasing fine lines and wrinkles they frequently cause.
Typical areas treated with botox are forehead lines, frown lines (between the eyebrows), smokers' lines (surrounding the lips), bunny lines (wrinkles on bridge of the nose), crow's feet (wrinkles around outer corners of eyes), marionette lines (lines from corners of mouth to chin), and chin "dimples".
Treatment can also be utilized to decrease the severity of a "gummy smile".
Dermal Filler
Our dermal filler treatment utilizes Hyaluronic Acid (HA). This is a gel-like substance that when injected under the skin, can help restore volume, and lessen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. At Ainsworth Family Dental, LLC, we utilize Juvederm Voluma XC or Juvederm Ultra XC based on area treated and indications for use.
Typical areas treated include: cheeks, chin, nasolabial folds, and moderate to severe facial wrinkles.
Lip Filler
Lip Filler (Lip Augmentation) also utilizes Hyaluronic Acid (HA). With use of Hyaluronic Acid, we can increase overall lip volume, or better enhance the shape of the lips. Both upper and lower lips can be treated to desired "full-ness". At Ainsworth Family Dental, LLC, we utilize Juvederm Ultra XC and can utilize intraoral dental injections to make the process essentially pain-free! Lip Augmentation can also treat the severity of a "gummy-smile".
